Frequently Asked Questions

Before beginning therapy.

What happens during the initial consultation?

The first consultation is a space to discuss what brings you to therapy, begin understanding your concerns and consider whether working together would be appropriate.

How often do sessions take place?

Ongoing psychotherapy is generally scheduled at a consistent recurring time. Frequency is discussed according to the nature of the work.

Do I need a diagnosis to start therapy?

No. People begin therapy for many reasons, including experiences or questions that do not fit neatly into a diagnosis.

Do you work with adolescents?

Yes. Adolescents make up an important part of my practice. Confidentiality and parental involvement are discussed according to age, circumstances, professional obligations and clinical need.

Do you offer online psychotherapy?

Yes, where professional and regulatory requirements allow. Contact me to discuss your location and whether online work is possible.

How do I ask about fees and availability?

The easiest way is through WhatsApp. I will send current consultation options, fees and available recurring times directly.
